Your qualification

 

To make the most of our training program, participants should ideally meet the following prerequisites:

  • Understanding of molecular biology and genetics, including concepts like gene expression, RNA, and DNA, and familiarity with the role of RNA sequencing in studying cells
  • Basic ability to work with command-line interfaces (bash) and experience with the programming language R
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts like mean, variance, and p-values
  • Exposure to sequencing technologies and bioinformatics pipelines (advantageous but not mandatory)
